Already its that day, it's Sunday. The day where you get to sleep in the last time for a week and for the most part internally forced to do all the homework in one day that you didn't do all weekend. Welcome to college! :) Overall, last week was a bit of a stressful one, felt like I spent every night staying up till 2 am reading and reading. Guess you have to do what you have to do to do well! WOW, that was a lot of "to do's." This coming week should be an interesting one. As I am writing this blog, the song " I may be a dreamer, BUT IM NOT THE ONLY ONE" is playing. Its an old song, yet a good one! Yeah, its old I know. Earlier this weekend, I was looking through some old photos of myself with a friend on my computer that were pretty funny. I mean if only you saw what I looked like 4 years ago..WOWZERS. Heck one picture I almost look like the guy from the jungle book. No kidding! As I was going through some of the pictures, it was almost a moment of reminiscence of the past, and all the memories I had. I mean heck I am a junior now in college, believe time is not slowing for me or YOU. Best believe it now. So it got me thinking, What do you see in you? A lover, a hard worker, a friend, a mother, an angry person, a forgiving person, a persistent person, someone who never gives up, someone who needs a change, someone that hopes for a better tomorrow, someone that lives for the present, not the past. While your reading this, think about it. What do you see in you? I could go on and talk about my pros and cons of what I see in myself, but that isint what this blog is about. Im asking you, what do you see in you? When I ask that, im asking about YOU, not other people. There is a BIG difference, best believe it!
Your going to have people that are always there for you, you're going to have best friends, lovers, and people that understand who you are. Simply said, but it means entirely different things. I believe you can have a best friend, and someone who understands who you are as a person. Someone that you feel you can connect to one way or another. WHAT DO YOU SEE IN YOU? Good or bad, we all have similar traits, yet some that separate us from others which makes us who we are.
You were born an original. Don’t become a copy. Let the world know you as you are, not as you think you should be, because sooner or later, if you are posing, you will forget the pose, and then where are you?
As I stated earlier it is Sunday, and now around 5:34 p.m. and I am about to get some dinner soon here! You never know what unexpected change life will hit you with, you never know who is going to come into your life, you never know why people do some things, there are a million things in this world that we never will know or understand, but the one thing we always will know is who YOU ARE. Again, WHAT DO YOU SEE IN YOU?
Everyday is a new day, make the most out of it that you can. Life is about living. No one can be you except you. I'd like to believe there is good in everyone, and hopefully you do too. Thanks for everything my friends, I wouldn't be where or who I am today with out you all, and that includes my family too! I'll leave you with this....what do you see in you? Take it or leave it, think about it or delete it. Do what you want, feel what you feel, become what you want to become, its all up to YOU.
